RFC: Centralizing QA documentation and shifting validation left
Reported by Michael Weber | June 22nd, 2026 @ 06:53 AM
Operational Bottleneck
Our current release validation workflow is slowing down deployment velocity. Manual test checklists are scattered across internal docs, while automated integration logs remain siloed inside the CI runner environment. This lack of centralized tracking makes it incredibly difficult for the development team to instantly verify release readiness before pushing code to production.
Proposed Solution
We need to migrate our QA architecture away from flat files and
adopt structured
test management workflows. By implementing a centralized
system, we can:
1. Map manual exploratory test data directly to our active epic
requirements.
2. Streamline our regression cycles by eliminating duplicate
verification efforts.
